Sally S. (Coco) Samperi April 19, 1932 - July 21, 2020

Haverhill – Sally S. (Coco) Samperi, 88, wife of the late Vito S. Samperi, passed away July 21, 2020 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Simone) Coco. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1950. Sally was employed for many years at Raytheon and worked as a health aide for the VNA. She had been a resident of Lawrence, Salisbury and Haverhill. Sally enjoyed traveling with her husband and they crossed the country on their many trips. Tending her flowers in the garden and cooking were a favorite pastime. Sally attended Star of the Sea Church in Salisbury for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sally is survived by her children, Patricia A. Grelle, Vita S. Samperi, Jr. and David Samperi; her brother Frank Coco and his wife Lillian of Methuen; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Horace Coco and his wife Lucille.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday, July 30 at Star of the Sea Church Chapel, 140 North End Blvd., Salisbury at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in Belleville Cemetery, Storey Avenue, Newburyport. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.     Sally I will miss you. Rest in Peace. It was a privilege to bring you communion. I really enjoyed all of our conversations,especially trying to find those special apple’s at the grocery store.
