Salvatore “Sam” Laudani, 93, formally of Salem, NH and Lawrence, passed away at Penacook Place in Haverhill on Thursday, April 27.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Rosaria (Rizza) Laudani.  Raised and educated in Lawrence, he attended Holy Rosary Grammar School and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1948.  Sam was self employed as a carpenter. He loved the beach, playing pool, watching TV and basketball, and was a Celtics fan. He was musically inclined and a great harmonica player.  Sam was a devoted husband and grandfather; he loved dancing with his wife and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sam is survived by his step-sons Arthur E. “Ted” Mazzotta and his wife Deanna of Georgetown; Michael K. Mazzotta and Jeanne Simone of Haverhill; his grandchildren Jared Kinson and his wife Angie of Plaistow, Jason Mazzotta and his partner Alicia Picard of Bradford, Justin Mazzotta and his wife Alyssa   of Tewksbury; and his great-grandchildren Kayla & Leah Kinson.

Sam was predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years Marilyn J. (Keenan) Laudani. He was also predeceased by his brothers Joseph A. Laudani and Thomas J. Laudani.
