SEAN PATRICK BONNELL, 54 February 7, 1969 - February 17, 2023

Sean Patrick Bonnell, 54, Haverhill, MA passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 17, 2023.

Sean was born on February 7, 1969 to Samuel J. Bonnell and Mary Ellen Bonnell of Bradford, MA. After Sean graduated from Pentucket Regional High School, West Newbury, he went on to work for the City of Haverhill for many years. He worked as Director of Music at a local church in Haverhill and also taught private guitar lessons to friends and young aspiring musicians.

Sean grew up in Groveland, MA and spent many summers with his family on Salisbury beach and annual trips to Disney World Florida. Sean was funny, artistic, kind-hearted and could tell a great story. He was a talented vocalist/songwriter, Guitarist, Bassist, Piano player & Drummer. His song writing is eclectic in nature, ranging from Rock to Experimental Music, Blues & “New Wave”. He played many venues at local establishments and enjoyed “jamming” with his musician friends.

Sean is survived by his parents, Samuel and Mary Ellen Bonnell of Bradford, his sister Gwen Zappala and husband Steve of Groveland, his niece Evie, along with many dear family members, friends and members of the church he attended.

A private graveside service will be held for his immediate family.
