NEWTON, NH – William C. DiBartolomeo, 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Newton, NH on Tuesday, March 21.

William was born on September 9, 1949, in Haverhill, MA, to William and Shirley (Smith) Di Bartolomeo.   He attended Haverhill schools and graduated from trade school in 1967.  William worked as a Pressman for many years at various print shops in the Merrimack Valley and NH areas.

He enjoyed antiques and collectibles, vintage cars and liked to play 45s at Haverhill Citizens Center and Merrimack Council on Aging. William enjoyed camping in Salisbury and North Conway, and traveling to Florida.

William is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Barbara (Edgerly) DiBartolomeo, children Michelle Cantrell, Dover, FL, David DiBartolomeo, Betty Bastarache, and James Bastarache; grandchildren Hannah, Shaine, Megan, Derek and Amanda; and great-grandchildren  Valeria and Chayce. He is also survived by his brother Michael DiBartolomeo and wife Jennie, Salem, NH, sisters Christine Rosset and husband John, Meredith, NH, Lucinda Nolet, Haverhill, MA , and Linda Brough and husband Robert, TN, and his Aunt Claire DiBartolomeo, wife of the late Victor DiBartolomeo, Haverhill, MA. William is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was predeceased by his brother Orlando J. DiBartolomeo and sisters Julie Buzzell and Joni DiBartolomeo

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 13, at 11AM at Walnut Cemetery, 1830 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA.  Donations may be made to the Live Free and Run Dog Park, c/o Sandy Ransone, 113 N.
