Haverhill – William J. Bond, 80, of Haverhill, died on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

William was born in Winchester on October 23, 1941 and was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Costello) Bond.

William was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School, Class of 1959.  He later graduated from Burdette Business College and received a Master’s degree from Salem State College. William worked for Northern Essex Community College, Bunker Hill Community College and Manchester Community College. He was an accomplished published author who wrote inspirational and home-based business books and held speaking engagements. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed dining out and traveling to Maine, Vermont and Las Vegas with his wife.

William was the beloved husband of Janet Bond. He was the loving father of Gregory P. Bond of Haverhill and Christine M. Bond-Johnson and her husband Richard of Dracut. He was the cherished grandfather of twins Timothy and Emily Johnson. He was the brother of Charles Bond of Winchester, Patricia Sedler and her husband Robert of Georgetown. He was predeceased by his brother John Bond, Joseph (Jock) Bond and his sister Gail Sine.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be held from the Funeral Home on Friday beginning at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in All Saint’s Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill at 10:00AM.     I do remember Bill when he had a coffee shop in the old Rockingham Mall in Salem NH he was a very nice man I’m so sorry to hear about his passing he is now resting in peace may god be with you and your family you are all in my prays
