Winifred I. (Barnard) Hartford September 27, 1936 - March 17, 2022

Haverhill – Winifred I. (Barnard) Hartford, 85, wife of the late Richard Hartford, passed away March 17, 2022 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill.

Born in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Ilene (Ainsmith) Hartford. Raised in Manchester, she attended Manchester High School. Winifred was employed for over 20 years as a bus driver for Copolla Bus Company of Haverhill. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved family gatherings, especially the holidays. Winifred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Winifred is survived by her children, Brenda Kumis of Haverhill; Stephen Budrow of Canton, IL; Richard Hartford Jr. of Haverhill; and Aaron Hartford of Barnstead, NH; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings Helen, Linda, Donald, Betty and Lillian; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Richard she was predeceased by her daughter Debra Durgin, son Brian Hartford and her siblings Eleanor, Theodore, Marie and  Robert.
