Phillip A. Collins, 87, of Haverhill, husband of Ethelene (Wilkins) Collins, passed away on February 3, 2026 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Phillip was born in Salem, MA on March 2, 1938; he was the son of Roscoe P. and Daisietta (Ellis) Collins. Phillip worked as a color grinder and machine operator for many years. He enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows and Patriots football games, and walking around town. Phillip was known for his very dry sense of humor and as a lover of all animals – especially his Rooster Buddy, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Phillip is survived by his wife Ethelene (Wilkins) Collins of Haverhill, his daughters Phyllis Stover of Haverhill, and Maria Salazar and her husband Jorge of Cuttler Bay, FL, and his brother Everett Collins of Clinton, MA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Scither Collins, Damien Little, Renny LaRoche and Abagail LaRoche.
