Haverhill – Carlos Sifre, 77, husband of Maria (Pichardo) Sifre for 60 years, passed away April 23, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Gregorio Sifre and Carmen Yanes. He attended school in the Dominican Republic before coming to Haverhill in 1991. He was employed for many years as a bill collector for Bartley Corporation. Carlos enjoyed playing baseball, dancing and karaoke. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his loving wife Maria, he is survived by his children Griselda Padilla of Bradford; Maritza Nina and her husband Rafael Nina of Haverhill; Rosa Pacheco and her husband Ezequiel Pacheco of Haverhill; Aracelis Sifre and her husband Camilo Severino of Haverhill; Carmen Sifre of Haverhill; Alexandra Severino of New York; his siblings, Carlos Sifre, Rafael Nival, Ramon Nival, Carmen Vetancurt and Nisua Acosta; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry – I am so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. It is so very difficult to lose a parent, especially your mom. Hold on tight to all the beautiful memories you have of her. May they bring you comfort and peace. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
