Mr. Rooseboom was my history teacher 39 years ago Freshman and Sophomore year. He was a fine teacher who propelled us all to be interested in his favorite subject. He cared about his students, was always respectful, had a great sense of humor, and was an exemplary model for all of us. I extend my deepest sympathies to his wife and family. I am sorry he suffered. I visited him with Claire Detora a couple of months ago and he was ever the polite gentleman making us laugh and being his good, good self. May he rest in peace.
