Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you.
Janet Marie Cunningham

Janet Marie Cunningham

Janet Marie Cunningham, 71, spouse of Linda K. Ahern, passed away May 26, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Reginald M. and Lillian H. (Heroux) Cunningham. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1966. Janet loved fishing, and camping in her younger years. She loved to make jewelry and it was her favorite pastime. Janet had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them and enjoyed many good times over the years. She loved long rides by the ocean, taking many photos of the wildlife and ocean scenes. Janet worked for many years in manufacturing and was well respected by her co-workers. She was a very loving and caring sister to her family and loved her mother dearly. Janet celebrated over 40 years with her loving companion Linda and together they went through many of life’s ups and downs, always more ups than downs. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving spouse Linda, Janet is survived by her nephews Michael Soellner and John Soellner, both of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Rossetti, her sister Theresa Soellner and her husband John, and her parents, Reginald M. and Lillian H. (Heroux) Cunningham.

I haven’t seen Jan for many years but through the 70’s and 80’s I saw Jan quite frequently and always had a good time. She was so funny but serious when needed to be, we knew a lot of the same Friends. Fly High my Friend. My Sympathies to the Family she was a Great Person.

Linda, I am so sorry Jan has taken her flight. May she be surrounded by love, light and laughter. We’ll all miss her laugh. One day you’ll hear that laugh out of nowhere and you’ll know everything is ok. I wish you peace.

Linda my heart breaks for you. Jan will be missed by so many that loved her. She was such a unique woman.so very giving and compassionate. It totally sucks, but she’s with all who loved her and also had to leave us.

The world has lost a beautiful caring soul. Jan will be missed, remember the love she gave and the happy memories you have of her. Jan was always smiling and had an underlying mischievousness, but would look so innocent when Linda would call her out. Rest in peace Jan.
