Haverhill – Achille “Archie” Giardini, 83, passed away suddenly December 26, 2021, at his home in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Ralph and Irene T. (Cote) Giardini. Raised in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1956. He continued his education at the Culinary Institute of New York. Achille served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He had a passion for cooking and worked as a chef for his entire career.  Achille was very outgoing and enjoyed a good game of pool. He had a sarcastic sense of humor and a quick wit. He was known to be very charismatic with people and was an outgoing, friendly man. Achille will be missed by his family and friends.

Achille is survived by his daughters, Julie Weymouth of Atkinson, NH; Elizabeth Maciolek and her husband John of Westford Ma; Laurie Gesualdi and her husband Zeke of Georgetown Ma; a brother, Ralph P. Giardini, Jr., and his wife Beverly from Cotuit Ma.; sisters, Donna M. Walton of Hampton, NH, and Wilhelmina Delquist of WA; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, January 8 from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.     To all of the Riley family, I am in absolute shock! I had no idea until I read this. Joe was a big part of my younger years. Many fantastic memories were made with The Riley Family. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Fly with the angels Joe B….see you on the other side. ??
