Haverhill- Scott Rodney Sargent, 56, passed away on May 21, 2022 after a courageous battle with a long term illness.
Born in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill public schools and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School where he majored in auto repair. After graduation he worked in construction for many years. Scott could always be counted on to help out a loved one or friend in need, especially with car problems or with a project around the house. For over 34 years, Janice Trongeau was his beloved partner; together they shared countless wonderful memories and Scott loved Janice’s daughters and grandchildren as if they were his own.
He is survived by his brothers Donald L. Sargent, Jr. of Loveland, CO and Teddy Sargent of Firestone, CO; his partner Janice Trongeau of Haverhill; Ms Trongeau’s daughters, Janice Woodard of Ellsworth, ME and Amanda Woodard of Haverhill, and Ms Trongeau’s grandchildren Elijah Woodard, Nahzayah Woodard, and Anthony Sweeney.
He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis R. (Cameron) Sargent.

It was nice to work with you chucky! You are a wonderful person, you always had a smile on your face and knew how to make everyone happy! Work isn’t the same without you!
