HAVERHILL – Brenda J. (Lowther) Homan, 82, passed away on July 22, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Brenda was born in Haverhill on September 12, 1942 to Edwin R. and Evelyn (Braley) Lowther. She attended Haverhill public schools.
Brenda was known for her feisty, fresh, and determined personality and her heart of gold. She loved traveling in their RV, up and down the east coast, camping at Salisbury Reservation, snow birding in Florida, and attending fairs. She spent time enjoying days spent at Disney World and Universal Studios. Brenda was all about family, she was a devoted wife, mother, Meme and great grandmother. The most important loves of her life were her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her husband Leo W. Homan, who has also been her personal caretaker for the past two years, and her daughters: Tina M. Levine and her partner Kevin Perry of Salem, NH, Debbie A. Savoy and her husband Steven of Methuen, Shelly M. Moreno and her husband Ronald of Milton Mills, NH, and Sherry A. Garden and her husband Derek of Haverhill.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Matthew Levine, Jordan Caparrotta, Jake Savoy, Samantha Savoy, Nick Moreno, Ashley Moreno, Bryan Garden, Adriana Tremblay and Amanda Garden; and great grandchildren: Maya Levine, Theo Caparrotta, Kendall Savoy, Isabella Sheehan and Maxwell Garden.
Brenda was predeceased by her infant son Derek L. Homan.
