HAVERHILL – Anna E. Gogas, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill.
Anna was born in Haverhill on April 28, 1927 to George S. and Mary B. (Collins) Gogas and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1946. She worked as an operator for over 40 years, eventually retiring from New England Telephone. She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed traveling, and liked to bake, especially her famous apple pie. Anna was loved by many and will be remembered as a very kind and giving soul. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family. Her family would also like to acknowledge the staff and caregivers at Penacook Place for the wonderful care Anna received there during her illness.
