WELBORN, FL – Laurence D. Bastarache, 81, passed away on September 12, 2025 in Chester, NH.
Laurence was born in Lynn, Ma, on August 2, 1944; he was the son of Omar and Dorothy (Higgins) Bastarache. Laurie worked in the auto body industry for years and was a talented artist fabricating metals and fiberglass. He enjoyed anything fast and believed that he wasn’t here for a long time, but just a good time. Laurie is survived by his son David and his wife Paula Bastarache, his daughters Laurie Ann and her husband Michael Cote, and Kathy Olson. He also leaves behind his brother Michael Bastarache and his sister Eliene (Beanie) and her husband Wayne Brooks; and his grandchildren James Cote, David Olson Jr., Michelle Olson, Matthew Cote, Nason Bastarache, Layla Wade, Ellie Wade, Quinn Olson, Jackson Cote, Miles Olson, Wyatt Cote, Caleb Olson, and Raymond Sapp. Laurie was predeceased by his brother Ray Bastarache.
