Norma M. (Belanger) Schroth, 92, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on September 30, 2025.
Norma was born in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Eustis and Eva (Cormier) Belanger. She attended Assumption Grammar School and was a graduate of Chelsea High School. She then went on to work for many years in healthcare as a nurse’s aide. Norma enjoyed spending summers in Parsonsfield, Maine; and enjoyed day trips to the Oxford Casino. Norma cherished her family and will be remembered fondly as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Norma is survived by her children Linda M. Thomas and her husband Gregory of Punta Gorda, FL, John E. “Jack” Schroth and his wife Bonnie of Atkinson, Scott A. Schroth and his wife Belladina of Amesbury, and Shawn K. Schroth of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her brothers Donald Joseph Belanger and Kathleen of Medford, and Daniel Belanger and his wife Nancy of Charlton, and her sister in law Barbara Belanger of Malden and sister in law Sattie Belanger of Chelsea; grandchildren Ryan Farris, Kyle Farris, Kelly Martinez, Scott Schroth, Nathalie Abreu-DeLeon, Stephanie Abreu-DeLeon, Jennifer Abreu-DeLeon, Joseph Schroth, Shawn K. Schroth, Jr., and Taylor Boisvert and her husband Charles; and great grandchildren Adaline, Hayden, Summer, Skylar, Kelly and Adonis (AJ), Addyson, Jaelyn, Avery, Patrick Cameron, Liam and Amelia; and long time friend Rebecca Bogart-Schroth.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Schroth, Jr., siblings Roger Belanger, Richard Belanger, Frank Belanger, Vernon Belanger, Raymond Belanger, Robert Belanger, and Ronald Belanger; and grandson Jonathan.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 5th from 2PM until 5PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
