Haverhill – Patricia E. (Townsend) Alpert, 72, of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 8, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the adoring widow of Norman N. Alpert, to whom she was married for 36 years.
Born in Lawrence, Pat was the daughter of Nelson E. and Eva V. (Evans) Townsend. Pat was raised, and spent the majority of her life, in Andover, MA. She attended St. Augustine’s School, was a 1971 graduate of Andover High School, and furthered her education taking college classes.
Pat was employed as a paralegal at several real estate law firms for over 30 years, until her retirement. She always loved taking trips to the beach, and cherished all of the times that she got to spend with family.
Pat is survived by her oldest daughter Rachael L. Lemieux, and her partner Christopher W. Floyd, of Hudson, NH, as well as her youngest daughter Kristen L. Alpert of Haverhill, MA, a sister Judith Sargent of Gresham, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Ellen Gagnon.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to a graveside service on Friday, October 17th at 11:00 AM at Spring Grove Cemetery, 5 Spring Grove Road, Andover, MA.
