Peter Michael Gaff Jr, 52, of Haverhill, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at his home.Born in Boston, he was the son of Peter M. Gaff Sr. and the late, Kitty F. (Nault).He attended Haverhill public schools and Whittier Regional Vocational High School. Following high school he enlisted into the U.S.Army where he would proudly serve from 1979 until his honorable discharge in 1983.
A self employed carpenter, he owned and operated Mike’s Window and Floor Co.He enjoyed fishing, boating, mountain biking, camping and nature. A passion he shared with his father was that of training championship homing and rolling pigeons.Besides his father, he leaves two daughters, Angela M. Gaff, of Haverhill, and Jennifer Shea, of Plaistow, NH, two sons, Michael W. Gaff, of Amesbury, and Nathan Gaff, of Haverhill, two brothers, Glenn R. Gaff, of Ocala, FL, and Scott Gaff, of Haverhill, sisters, Deborah A. Gaff, of Sandown, NH, Donna M. and her husband Richard Poissant, of Haverhill, Bonnie M. and Kevin Fritschy, of Epping, NH, and Kimberly Leskuin-Payan, and her husband, Giovanni, of , IL, aunt Winnie Nault, of Haverhill, six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call, TODAY, Tuesday, April 12, from 5 until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to one’s local food pantry.
