Marie Claire Goudreault, 81, North Carolina, formerly of Haverhill, died Monday, August 1, 2011.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, William J. and Irene A. (Legare) Wedge. She was a Graduate of St. James Grammar School and St. James High Schools, Class of 1948.She along with her husband, Edward P. Goudreault Jr, owned and operated Goudreault’s Oil Company and later, Goudreault’s Honda, located in Haverhill for many years until her retirement in 1982.The widow of Edward P. Goudreault Jr, who died in 1976, she leaves a son Philip E. Goudreault and his wife, Adrienne, of North Carolina, a daughter Theresa G. Kyrios and her husband Ted, of Amesbury, two grandchildren, Michael and Corinne Goudreault, two brothers, D. George Wedge, of LA, and James Wedge, of AZ, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Wedge.A memorial funeral service for Mrs. Goudreault was held in North Carolina. A private committal service will be held in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the St. Therese Building Fund, 217 Brawley School Rd. Mooresville, NC, 28117. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
