S. Michael Grandmont, 43, of Haverhill, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.He was born, Sheldon Michael, on January 12, 1969, the son of the late, Clifford “Red” and Eileen (Rand) Grandmont. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1987.Throughout his career, Michael was employed with various contractors in the area. A talented carpenter, he worked as a roofer, a painter, and spent winters plowing snow.He loved riding motorcycles and snowmobiling.He leaves his beloved wife of thirteen years, Carlene M. (Windle) Grandmont, of Haverhill, his mother and father in law, Paul and Susan Windle, of Seabrook Beach, NH three brothers Clifford J. Grandmont, and his wife, Tara Joseph L. Grandmont and James M. Grandmont, all of Haverhill, two sisters Deborah J. Shakley and her husband Owen, and Patricia E. McComiskey and her husband James, also of Haverhill, numerous nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, and brother and sister in law, Jennifer and Ryan Miller, of Danville, NH. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Rose Morse.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Monday, from 5 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. Memorial donations may to the American Heart Association.
