Donald Tuck Grandmaison

Donald G. Tuck Grandmaison, 64, of Amesbury, formerly of Haverhill, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at the West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital after a lengthy illness.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Charles G. and Irene (Cowan) Tuck. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and Haverhill Trade School. A Vietnam veteran, he was proud of his time served in the Marine Corps.He received the Vietnam Service Medal with three bronze Stars, Presidential Unit Commendation Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, and the Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation.A painting contractor by trade, he was employed throughout the Merrimack Valley was not limited to that trade alone. He also worked for Letoile Roofing Company in Haverhill, and McCarthy Home Improvement Company. Don enjoyed photography, fishing and boating, and was a fan of all sports.He leaves two brothers, Roger N. Grandmaison and his wife, Sandra (Greenwood), of Haverhill, Charles G. Grandmaison and his wife Cheryl (DeHullu), of Haverhill two sisters, Mariann Anzaldi, of Haverhill, and Cheryl Dupuis and her husband, Edward, of Lawrence and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of Mr. Grandmaison, funeral services and burial are private.
