Warren Lee Eldon, 74, of Haverhill, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at his home.Born in Rockford, Ill., Aug. 26, 1936, he was the son of the late, Charles E. and Mildred (Wolfe) Eldon.Educated in Illinois, he was a graduate of Rockford High School, Class of 1953. A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Eldon proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. Mr. Eldon was truck driver by trade he hauled R. V. motor homes across country for many years, retiring in 1999.An avid fisherman, his friends nicknamed him “Catfish.”He leaves five children, Debra K. Hackbert, Wanda F. Schmuggerow, Dawn L. Eldon, Mark E. Eldon, all of Illinois, and Charlene Collins, of West Palm Beach, Fla. a brother, Charles J. Eldon, of Oakland, Maine a sister, Mary Woolbright, of Illinois and nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services with military honors will take place at the convenience of the family.
