Carol Ann Edith (Burnell) Sulesky, 74, of Haverhill, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.Born in Haverhill, Jan. 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late, Milton W. and Eleanor A. (Page) Burnell. She attended St. Joseph Grammar and Haverhill High School. Mrs. Sulesky was employed in the Haverhill shoe manufacturing industry for many years. She then went to work at DYTEX Co. in Haverhill and retired in 1990.Along with being a homemaker, she loved cooking, and as an active member of the Haverhill AMVETS Post 147 ladies auxiliary, she enjoyed sharing her culinary delights with other members.The widow of Donald Sulesky, who died in 2009, she leaves her beloved daughters, Karen A. and Maureen A. Sulesky, both of Haverhill a sister, Marlene Rodier of Candia, N.H. four brothers, Norman Burnell and his wife Donna of Lewiston, Maine, Paul Burnell, John Burnell, and Richard and his wife Betty, all of Haverhill and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Frank Sulesky and a sister, Frances McLean of Haverhill.ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services will take place Saturday, (TODAY) May 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Entrance 1, Lawrence, MA 01843. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
