James Gaudet

James D. Gaudet, 67, of Haverhill, died Wednesday, July 3, at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.Born in Winthrop, he was the son of the late, Darrell A. and Ann L. (McAuliffe) Gaudet. Educated in Billerica, he was a graduate of Billerica High School, Class of 1963. Shortly after graduation Mr. Gaudet enlisted into the U.S. Air Force. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country for four years and was honorably discharged in 1967.Mr. Gaudet was employed as a customer service representative for U. S. Airways, retiring in 2005. A. devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.The widower of Florence (Thorne) Gaudet who died in 2009, he leaves his beloved daughters with whom he lived, Rene C. Gaudet, and Tammy E. Gaudet, cherished granddaughter, Abigail, two sisters, Elizabeth A. Votour, of Daytona Beach, FL, and Lisa J. Syngajewski and her husband, John, of Everett, and nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to a Memorial Mass on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill.
