John Butruccio, Sr.

Plaistow, NH – John F. Butruccio Sr., 75, of Plaistow, formerly of Haverhill, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Vito and Mary (Mascaro) Butruccio. He attended Haverhill public schools and Haverhill High School. He was a proud member of the Kingston VFW 1088. Mr. Butruccio began his career in the local shoe industry, he then owned and operated his business, Ultra Clean of Haverhill, a contracted cleaning business. He then became the Superintendent of 1 Water St. Apartments for fifteen years, retiring in 2000. He leaves a son, John Butruccio Jr. and his wife Julie, of Fremont, NH, two daughters, Lisa S. Butruccio, of Plaistow, and Robin L. Butruccio and her significant other, Teddy Gagaris, of Kingston, NH, five grandchildren, William “B.J.” Maurier Jr, Christopher Maurier, Lucia Butruccio, Christy Costa, and Jamy Dalton, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and close friend and caregiver, Michael Quatrale. He was predeceased by his siblings, Vito Jr, James, Archilles, Emanuel, Catherine Hyzuk, Marie Bittner, and Eleanor Garvey. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
