Haverhill – Deanna A. (Parker) Hemingway, 50, of Haverhill, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness.Deanna was born in Farmington, Maine. She was the daughter of Hollis N. and Donna B. (Bump) Parker. Educated in Maine, she was a graduate of Mt. Abram High School in Salem, Maine, class of 1981.Ms. Hemingway was employed as a waitress for the Denny’s restaurant chain. Working for the chain for over twenty years, she served customers at the South Lawrence location and in Alaska while living there. Known to have a heart of gold her profession was also her calling, she enjoyed serving others. She enjoyed shopping, and in her quit time she was an avid reader. Deanna loved animals and cherished her cat “Freshy”.She leaves her partner of ten years, Gary W. Malone, of Haverhill, Gary’s twin boys, Cody and Tristen Winslow, her mother, Donna Parker, a sister, Donna Corcoran and her husband, Shaun, all of Bradford, a brother, Dale Z. Parker and his wife, Susan, of Berwick, ME, two nieces, Heather and Samantha Parker, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom will miss her dearly. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday evening from 5 until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
