David Stout

Merrimac – David H. Stout, 73, of Merrimac, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2014, with his family by his side at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport after a lengthy illness. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late, David H. and Ruth Stout, he attended Reading public schools, and was a graduate of Reading High School. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1964.Mr. Stout was employed as a salesman for the Peerless Lighting retail store for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his partner, Angelo with whom he shared thirty-two years.He leaves his loving husband, Angelo C. Sarro, of Merrimac, a brother, Robert Stout, a niece, Sandra Kring, both of PA, stepchildren, Charles Sarro and his wife, Patricia, of Quincy, Arthur Sarro and his wife, Natalia, of Amesbury, Annmarie Ernst and her husband, Eric, of Northfield, NH, and Beverly J. Ernst and her husband, Leonard, of Katy, TX.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will immediately follow the period of visitation at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
