Haverhill – M. Elsie (Dandurant) David, 84, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 with her family by her side at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, John and Annie (Driscoll) Dandurant. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and Haverhill High School.Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. David was also employed as an office assistant for the NEFOR Corporation in Haverhill for many years, retiring in 1995.A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherished her time spent with family. She leaves her beloved husband of fifty-five years Paul A. David Sr., of Haverhill, a son Paul A. David Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, a daughter Paula J. Seymour, and her husband, Joseph, of North Andover, four grandchildren Courtney Seymour, Emily Seymour, Lauren David and Lilah David, a brother, Arnold Dandurant, of East Hampstead, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Peter Dandurant, Anna Lafontaine, Alice Lucier, Norma Garavanta, Antoinette Gaidis, Stella Lesuer, Eileen Fisher, and Natalie Ferguson.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the period of visitation at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home.
