Haverhill – Claire J. (Paul) Hutchinson, 80, of Plaistow, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 12, 2014.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Clarence V. and Jane H. (Fyfe) Paul. She was educated in the Haverhill school system. Mrs. Hutchinson was a homemaker who cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved knitting, crocheting and teaching her granddaughters the same. She also enjoyed spending time with her many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.The widow of James Hutchinson, who passed away in 1981 she leaves her loving children three sons, Michael J. and his wife, Jean M. (Archambault) Hutchinson, of Haverhill, John D. Hutchinson and his wife, Therese, of Sandown, NH, and Don P. Hutchinson and his wife Wendy, of Plaistow, NH, two daughters Jeannie A. Thompson and her husband, David W., of Bradford, and Diane C. Busi, and her husband, Robert, of Plaistow, NH, a brother, Redmond E. Paul and his wife, Sandra, of Haverhill, two sisters Audrey E. McGowan, of Dover, NH, and Mary Ellen Petit and her husband, Paul, of Merrimac, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, David Paul, Gene Paul and Donald Paul.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte. 125) Haverhill. Funeral services for Mrs. Hutchinson will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home.
