Haverhill – Vincent “Jim” Alicata, 87, husband of Roberta (Rokous) Alicata passed away on September 24th at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.Born in Wakefield he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Serrantino) Alicata. Raised in Lawrence he attended Lawrence Public Schools. After high school he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Vincent was employed in retail sales for the former Filene’s Department Store for 18 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, James A. Marino and his wife Jacqueline of Methuen Sabrina Toothaker and her husband Scott of Stoneham Carla Marino Judson of Salem, NH a brother, Carmelo Alicata and Joanne Gattinella of Colorado Springs, CO two sisters, Cora Murray and Joanne and Larry Matthews, all of Columbus, GA two grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Judson of Salem, NH and many nieces and nephews Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
