Haverhill – Amy K. (Chiefari) Ryan, 40, of Haverhill formerly of New York passed away on Wednesday June 10th at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany NY, she was raised in Troy, NY where she attended Tamarac Public Schools and was a graduate of Britton Kill High School Class of 1993. She continued her education and received her nursing degree from Siena College in Latham, NY. Amy was a registered nurse and was employed for the Home Health VNA for the past four years. Previously she was employed with All Care VNA. She chose her career path as a nurse as she was a very compassionate and caring person. She was a gifted musician and pianist as she was self- taught. She loved all kinds of music and was also a singer. She enjoyed working in her yard and was a talented decorator. Amy was artistic and gifted in all her endeavors. Amy cherished her time spent with her family especially her two children, Luke and Jake. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Amy is predeceased by her loving husband Matthew J. Ryan, who passed in October of 2014. She is survived by her two sons, Luke J. Ryan and Jacob “Jake” Ryan of Haverhill her parents, James F. and Janet D. (Wood) Chiefari, of Cropseyville, NY, two brothers, Phillip J. Chiefari and his wife Amy of Troy, NY Robert O. Chiefari and his wife Maria of Bellevelle, IL mother in law, Ms. Donna M. (Dupont) Ryan, of Bradford, father in law, James E. Ryan and his wife, Rebecca, of Haverhill, a sister in law, Maureen E. Early and her husband, William, of Bradford nieces, Taylor R. Early, Sara M. Early, Sara I. Chiefari, and Katie R. Chiefari, and several extended family members, friends and co-workers.Family and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services are Monday morning at 11am in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
