Haverhill – Edmund F. Trahan, 88, formerly of Beverly, passed away on Saturday, October 30 at the Hannah Duston Nursing Home in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late George J. and Ardella T. (Doughty) Trahan. Edmund attended Saugus Public Schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Edmund enjoyed dancing, especially to polka music and country western music. He will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving him are his two daughters, Janet Mary Wood of Haverhill and Linda Tardiff of Salem. At the request of the family services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
