Haverhill, MA – Angelina “Angie” Lalli, 99 Passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Sutton Hill Center, North Andover. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease Angie passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord, surrounded by family and friends. Angie was born on November 23, 1916, the daughter of Caesar and Maria (Iannalfo) Buco. At the age of 14 she began working at the Duck mill in Lawrence, then at Pacific Mills as a weaver and Greico Bros. as a seamstress. Angie met and then married the love of her life Constanzo ‘Stan’ Lalli in April of 1947 at Holy Rosary Church, Lawrence, and made their home in Methuen. The couple moved their young family to Haverhill, where she was a faithful attendant of St. James Church. The couple would have celebrated 69 years of marriage in April. Angie is remembered for her solid family values, her generosity, and her expertise in the kitchen, making bread, pasta, pizza, cookies and hand decorated cakes, all from scratch. Angie was self- taught, always busy knitting, crocheting, and making clothing for her children. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband Stan, her devoted daughter Cynthia and husband Kevin Linehan of Atkinson, NH, her devoted son Anthony and his love Linda Johnson of Haverhill, devoted daughter-in-law Kathleen Lalli of Haverhill, her beloved grandchildren Melissa (Lalli) Dimos and husband, Dr. Christos Dimos, Dr. Matthew Lalli, Michael Lalli, Mark Lalli, David Linehan, Jeffrey Linehan, 1st Lt. Patrick Linehan, Nicholas Linehan, Great grandson Sotirios Christos Dimos, devoted nieces Sylvia Moore and her husband Jim, Angela Buco of VA, Marie Morgan and her husband Greg of NH, nephews Charles Buco and his wife Paula of MA, Frank Buco, Alfred Buco Jr. of NY, brother-in-law Stanley Plescowicz and his sons Stanley Plescowicz and Michael Plescowicz and his wife Phyllis of MA, and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Carmen, Silvio, Alfred, and Eugene Buco. The family extends their gratitude to her caregivers at home and at Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 29 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
