Groveland – Carolyn T. (Nierod) Bean, 73, passed away on April 8, 2016 at her residence after being stricken ill suddenly.Born in Webster, MA she was the daughter of Eleanor (Rogers) George and the late Stanley Nierodzinski. Educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1960 and received her certification from Whittier Tech as an L.P.N. A loving, caring woman, Carolyn cared for many people working at various nursing homes in the area including Penacook Place for over fifteen years. An avid reader, she enjoyed the serenity and quiet of her home. She loved watching movies, especially classics and was a lover of all animals.She leaves a son, Darren Bean, and her best friend and mother, Eleanor T. George, a brother, John S. Nierod and his wife, Rita, all of Groveland, a stepbrother, Daniel P. Nierodzinski, and stepsisters Dianne C. Cole, and Paula A. Barajas, and several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to calling hours on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Main St. Groveland.
