Atkinson, NH – Stephen A. Connell, 69, husband of the late Rhonda (Aghoian) Connell passed away on May 23 at his home.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Kyrpish) Connell. Raised and educated in Haverhill he was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1964. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was a welder by trade and for many years following he was a truck- driver for the Whittemore Trucking Company. He loved fishing and spending time at his brother’s camp on Richardson’s Lake in Maine. He enjoyed the many happy years he spent with his brother and his family at the lake and most recently exploring the surrounded woods and logging roads in his ATV. He cherished the time spent with his nieces and nephews and loved going to the family gatherings. He is survived by his brother, Paul Connell and his wife Marsha of Bradford and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he is predeceased by his brothers James Jr. and Robert Connell and two sisters, Joan Connell and Constance Alexander. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 27 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
