Haverhill – Terry A. (Routier) Dickens, 61, passed away August 6, 2016 at her home.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Romeo T. and Margaret M. (Mansur) Routier. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1973. After graduating from high school she attended Northern Essex Community College. Terry was employed by Polartec in Lawrence for over 20 years as an administrator. She was an artist, using oil paints as her medium. Nature and the beach were some of her favorite subjects and she entered many local art shows. Terry enjoyed spending time at the beach, swimming and was a sun worshiper. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she loved celebrating the holiday with her family and friends. She was diagnosed with ALS in 2014 and fought a courageous battle with the help of her loving family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Surviving her are her sons, Skipper B. Church and his wife Stephanie of Nashua, NH Stephen J. Dickens III and his wife Genesis of Methuen Travis Dickens of Danvers her brothers, John M. Routier and his wife Karen of Haverhill Gary T. Routier and his wife Jolene of NC Stephen D. Routier and his wife Wendy of Haverhill her sisters, Mary Ann Zito and Patricia Rutherford of Haverhill her twin grandchildren, Abbie and Emma Church and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be private.
