Dorothy Bushek

Atkinson, NH – Dorothy C. (McGovern) Bushek, 69, wife of David Bushek, passed away November 1, 2016 from injuries sustained in a car accident in Salem, NH.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Dorothy R. (Daley) McGovern. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1965. Dorothy was employed at the Women’s View in Lawrence as a drug and alcohol counselor. Faith, family and community were her greatest concerns. She was dedicated to the well- being of all the families she helped at the Women’s View. She was known for her open arms attitude and was never judgmental, no matter what the circumstances. She was an advocate for the down trodden including all animals. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her loving husband David, she is survived by her children, Anthony R. Rizzotti and his wife Susan (Potvin) of Newton, NH Michael Rizzotti and his wife Christine of Fremont, NH Charles Rizzotti and his wife Jennifer of FL Keriann Rizzotti of Plaistow, NH twelve adoring grandchildren, Joshua, Jared, Marissa, Alanna, Carena and Hayley Rizzotti Jarret Martin, Mackenzie O’Toole Andrew Rizzotti, Jessica Ferguson and Haley Ferguson four great grandchildren, Aiden, Tucker, and Madison Rizzotti Kian McKenna a nephew, Steven Allen, of Haverhill, and nieces, Carla Paquette, of Haverhill, and Kelly Peters, of Newton, NH. She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Allen. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 11 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B.
