Hampstead, NH – Carl T. Carlson, Jr., 79, husband of Patricia A. (Bradley) Carlson, passed away November 29, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice with his loving family by his side. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Carl T. Carlson, Sr. and Rose E. (Prantner) Carlson. Raised in Bristol, RI he attended Bryant College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. He served his country in the United States Army as an Orderly from 1962 until 1964 under General Freedman in Heidelberg, Germany. Carl was a licensed New Hampshire Auctioneer and spent many years at the Brimfield Antique Shows. With his wife Patricia, they traveled the East Coast attending Antique festivals and shows. They would celebrate their “finds” with a lobster roll and a bottle of champagne. He was an avid New England sports fan, especially for the Boston Red Sox. Carl enjoyed salt water fishing and fly fishing. He was known for his cooking and was an accomplished chef. An animal lover of all, he especially loved his cats Jasper and Jake and looked to them for his “therapy”. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his loving wife Patricia of over 43 years, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Erica A. Dowd and her husband Geoffrey of Hampstead, NH Sarah A. Carlson of Nashua, NH his brother, Norman B. Carlson and his wife Dorothy of Naples, FL four adored grandchildren, Aiden Dowd, Finn Dowd, Domenic Vitello and Alexis Vitello. Carl’s family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at both, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston and High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
