Brian Goutier

Haverhill – “Butch” Brian D. Goutier, 62, passed away December 8, 2018 at his home in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Joyce (Herron) Gigliotti and the late Donald S. Goutier. Raised in Groveland he attended Pentucket Junior and Senior High School. Following in his father’s footsteps, as a young man he enjoyed racing cars at Pines Speedway. Butch was employed for over twenty years at Early Contractors in Haverhill as an underground utilities foreman and machine operator. He was often the life of the party with his brash sense of humor and witty jokes. Butch had a tendency to make friends everywhere he went. He had a great love for music, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed bonfires and barbecuing with friends and family. Famous for his red sauce, he loved to cook whether in the kitchen or the backyard. With a tough exterior and a heart of gold Butch was devoted to his family, his children, grandchildren and his life partner for over 35 years, Carol Ann (Rousseau) Shaw. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.In addition to his loving mother Joyce and life partner Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Erin L. Shaw and Benjamin Baily of Haverhill Ian J. Shaw of Methuen his son Brian D. Goutier and his companion Alicia Barton of Groveland seven grandchildren, Shyla, Dante, Jackson, Violet, Murphy, James and Luzian and his beloved dog Dino.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a calling hours on, Saturday December 22 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B.
