Alan R. Mandigo, Sr., 57, of Haverhill, died Saturday, March 6, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after a brief illness.Born in Exeter, N.H., he was the son of the late Clifton A. Mandigo Jr. and Noreen (Smart). He was educated in the Exeter Public School System. Upon graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Navy, where he served honorably during the Vietnam War.Mr. Mandigo was employed as a custodian in the environmental services department of the Merrimack Valley Hospital. He enjoyed being part of the hospital staff and always greeted patients and fellow members of the hospital community with a smile.He leaves two sons, Alan R. Mandigo Jr. and his wife Cybelle of Dover, N.H., Charles C. Mandigo and his wife Mary of Danville, N.H. two daughters, Terri-Jean Pedato and her husband Steven of Danville, N.H., and Shara L. Rogers of Haverhill a brother, Stuart Mandigo of Winter Haven, Fla. two sisters, Cherie Daniels of Dover, N.H., and Bonnie White of Ithaca, N.Y. 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125) Haverhill. Calling hours will take place prior to the service from 4 until 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alan R.
