Anne Accardi

Haverhill – Anne E. (Emilio) Accardi, 92, wife of the late Dominic Accardi, passed away September 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Perrozzi) Emilio. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1942. Anne and her late husband Dominic raised their three children in Haverhill and lived there for many years. She worked at Western Electric, which later became Lucent, for 20 years. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved the holidays with her family. She was a great cook and could be found in her kitchen most mornings preparing all kinds of Italian specialties. Her grandchildren were very special to her, attending all of their sporting events. Anne was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed her crossword puzzles. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Anne is survived her children, David A. Accardi and his wife Darlene J. of Haverhill Paul M. Accardi and his fiancé` Debra L. Murphy of Haverhill and Andrea J. Brandolini of Haverhill a brother Frank Emilio and his wife Sheila of Haverhill four cherished grandchildren, Amanda R. Accardi, Joseph D. and Melissa Accardi, Kelli C. Accardi and Christina R. Accardi and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her siblings, Claudia DeCristofaro, Eva Camuso, Bennie, Romeo, Orazio and Alfred Emilio. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 22 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin Friday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. James Church, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill.
