Arlene M. (Fontana) Rapisardi, 69, of Haverhill, formerly of Clinton, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after a brief illness.Born in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Kittredge) Fontana. She attended Clinton Public Schools and Clinton High School.She was employed by the Ray-O-Vac Company, formerly of Clinton, prior to becoming a full time homemaker. Arlene settled with her husband in Haverhill, where she has raised her family and resided for the past 44 years.She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and took great pleasure in cooking for family and friends.She leaves her beloved husband of of 44 years, Philip A. Rapisardi of Haverhill two daughters, Lisa Hallinan and her husband Timothy, of Lancaster, Laurie A. Rapisardi, of Haverhill a son, Christopher Rapisardi and his wife Kristen L. (Heller) of Bradford two sisters, Verilyn O’Connell, of Clinton, and Mary Briggs, of Greenfield two brothers, Marvin Fontana of Grafton, and David Fontana of Clinton a brother-in-law, Kenneth Gallant, of North Carolina several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Gallant and brother, Paul Fontana.ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St. Clinton, MA 01510. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Lancaster.
