Newton, NH – Brian M. Lavanga, 49, fianace` of Elizabeth Slavit, passed away December 26, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Beverly Ann (Sage) Lavanga of Kansas City, MO and Robert E. Lavanga and Jane Lavanga of Atkinson, NH. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1990. Brian worked as a utility operator in No. Andover. He was always tinkering around the house and his hobby was working on cars. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping every weekend with friends and loved the White Mountains. Brian was an outgoing individual with a great sense of humor. He was devoted to his daughter and fiancé` and loved animals, especially his dogs. Brian will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his fiancé` Elizabeth and his parents, Brian is survived by his daughter, Brianna E. Lavanga; his brothers, Patrick Lavanga and his wife Michele of Plaistow, NH; Christopher Lavanga and his wife Jamie of Kansas City, MO; Robert Lavanga of Kansas City, MO; nieces and nephews, Lauryn Lavanga, Olivia Lavanga, Patrick Lavanga and Matthew Lavanga. He was predeceased by his sister Sandra Lavanga.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 31 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.     My heart and prayers are with him, Liz, his daughter and family. I worked with Brian many moons ago, he was a good guy and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
