Catherine Ellen (Case) Hailson, 55, of Plaistow, formerly of Haverhill, died Saturday, January 28 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Catherine R. (Mutch) Case, and the late Charles Henry Case Sr. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1974.Mrs. Hailson was employed as a Quality Control Inspector in the High Tech Industry, working for DIGITAL Corp, and more recently at C.T.S. Inc, in Londonderry, NH, until her illness forced her into an early retirement.A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was all about family. Known for her great sense of humor, she would bring laughter and happiness to anyone around her. She loved fishing, dancing, music, and spending time with her loved ones.She leaves her beloved husband of twenty-five years, Bernard G. Hailson Jr, of Plaistow, two daughters, Tina B. (Morse) Whitt and her husband Shawn, of Manchester, NH, Leigh A. (Hailson) Stuart and her husband Louis, of Newmarket, NH, her mother, Mrs. Catherine R. (Mutch) Case, of Plaistow, five cherished grandchildren, Zachery, Christopher, and Codie Hailson, and Catherine and Trenton Whitt, a sister and brother in law, Ann M. (Case) and Robert G. Jones, of Plaistow, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles H. Case Jr.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Wednesday, February 1, from 4 until 7 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made to the Lahey Clinic Philanthropy Office, 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805.
