Charles E. “Chip” Hubbard, 76

Haverhill – Charles E. “Chip” Hubbard, 76, of Haverhill passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 20, 2026 at his home.

Chip was born in Haverhill on April 15, 1949 to Charles and Fannie May (Judson) Hubbard and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1969. He worked locally as a waste water treatment plant maintenance mechanic for over 32 years; and also plowed snow for the City of Haverhill in Riverside for 52 years. Chip was a big car person; he was proud of his ’55 Chevy that he had since the age of 15, won trophies at car shows, and also competed in tractor pulling shows. He enjoyed traveling to Disney, going lobster fishing, and boating. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Chip is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Cecilia (Lowes) Hubbard of Haverhill, his son Charles Hubbard, Jr. and his wife Christy of Haverhill, and his daughter Cecilia Warchol and her husband Kenneth of Kensington, NH. He also leaves behind his grandchildren John Collins and his fiancé Nicole Chase, Kaitlyn Collins, Christopher Hubbard, Curtis Hubbard and his wife Lisette, Cassandra Hubbard and Cristian Hubbard; and great grandchild Aubree Cornock. He was predeceased by his brother William Hubbard, and his sister Gladys Champagne.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 22nd from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
