Haverhill – Charlotte A. (Hood) (Ford) Madigan, 59, of Haverhill, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at her home. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of Richard H. Hood and Margaret M. (Hynes) Ford and was raised by her step father Robert Ford. She was a graduate of Triton High School, class of 1972. She received her Nursing education at Whittier Tech. A caregiver all of her life, Charlotte was employed as an Licensed Practical Nurse, serving patients at the Oxford, the Glenn, and Baker-Katz Nursing Homes. She loved taking care of people, especially her family. She never kept still, a crafter, she loved sewing, and she enjoyed shopping, not so much for herself, but for someone in need. Spending time with her two cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Lillian was the highlight of her life. The widow of Benjamin F. Fall Jr. who died in 1988, she leaves a son, Caleb B. Fall, of Haverhill, a daughter, Haley L. McAninch and her husband Shawn, of Bradford, her companion of twelve years, Ernest E. Olenio, of Haverhill, a brother, Richard P. Ford, of Lowell, two sisters, Maureen S. Ayles and her husband George, and Mary M. Thibeault, all of Hampton, NH, her husband, Timmy L. Madigan, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel R. Hood. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday from 4 until 7 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Mill St. Haverhill.
