Haverhill – Cheri L. Gainer, 38, passed away Tuesday, March 29 at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill.Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of Dinah (McFarland) Gainer of Haverhill and the late Arthur Gainer. She was raised and educated in Beverly until the age of 15. She moved with her family to Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1995. She worked various jobs in the Haverhill and Andover area. She was recently employed as an office assistant with a luggage carrier company. She was a volunteer with the “Ozzie’s Kids” organization helping the needy children of Haverhill. Cheri loved to travel with her family to Disney World in Florida where she had a time share. She also enjoyed scrapbooking. Most important to her was spending time with her two children. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Surviving her in addition to her mother are her two children, Andre J. Gainer and Layla M. Gainer, both of Haverhill a sister, Michelle R. MacDonald of FL and Brian MacDonald of Lynn a nephew Mason James, cousins Christopher Cornell, Alexis Bingham, Joanna Flynn, and Julie Woody her aunts, Cheri Woody and her husband Steve of Raleigh, NC and Rosalee Anvari and her husband Ali of Omaha, NE and her grandmother, Phyllis McFarland of Raleigh, NC. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, April 2 from 2:00pm until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
