HAVERHILL – Conrad R. Spencer, 87, of Haverhill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, July 27, 2025 after a lengthy illness.

Conrad was born on July 15, 1938 in Haverhill; he was the son of Ernest R. and Alice H. (Proulx) Spencer and was a graduate of St. James High School Class of 1956.  Conrad was proud to be the class president for all four years of high school.  He was a Publications Manager and Graphic Designer for Sanders Associates and eventually retired from Raytheon.

Conrad was a dedicated husband and father. He was a terrific storyteller and had a magnetic personality and a great sense of humor. He was a lifelong resident of Haverhill who was passionate about boating on the Rowley River.  Conrad was all about family and cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a loving caretaker to his wife for nine years during her illness. The family wishes to thank all of the healthcare workers who took care of him in the past year.

Conrad is survived by his daughter Karen M. Jabour of Haverhill, his son in law George A. Jabour of Windham, and his son Michael R. Spencer and his wife Kelly (Rogers) of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his grandchildren George C. Jabour, Jessica Jabour, Aaron Spencer, Rachel Spencer and Sarah Spencer; and his great grandchildren Anthony Jabour and Jocelyn Jabour; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley J. (Files) Spencer, his brothers Donald Spencer and John Spencer, and a sister Patricia Lent.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 1st from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 2nd at 11AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
