Cora I. (Frisbie) Brown, 86, of Haverhill, formerly of Saint Joseph, Missouri, died Thursday, January 14, at the Wingate at Haverhill Nursing Home, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness.Born in Versailles, MO, she was the daughter of the late, Ellis C. and Matilda (Saunders) Frisbie. She attended St. Joseph public schools. Living in Saint Joseph, MO, most of her life, she relocated to Haverhill six years ago.A homemaker all of her life, she was the widow of Marvin A. Brown Sr.. She leaves her daughter and son in law with whom she lived, Diana S. and Henry “Butch” Cook, of Haverhill, two sons, Marvin A. Brown Jr., David L. and his wife Deborah (Motika) Brown, a brother, Russell Frisbie, a sister, Ruby Stanton, all of St. Joseph, MO, cherished grandchildren, Christina Callaway, Stephen Cook, Shawne Cook, David Brown Jr, Jason Brown, Joseph Brown, and Jessica Brown, several great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, she was predeceased by siblings, George, Woodrow, Raymond, Kenneth, Rubin, and Cloye.Funeral services and burial will take place in St. Joseph, Missouri, local arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B.
