Haverhill-Dhimitraq Trebicka, 77, of Haverhill, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a brief illness.Born in Albania, May 9, 1936, he was the son of the late, Kristo and Eftimi (Faberi) Trebicka. Educated in Albania, he was a gifted Artist. He taught at University, High School and Grammar School levels during his career in Albania and served as the Director of the Gallery of Fine Arts.Immigrating to the United States in 1993, he and his family first lived in Boston for a while and then settled in Haverhill. He continued his painting until recently and his Artwork was exhibited throughout the area including Boston and Newburyport.He leaves his beloved wife of forty-five tears, Mellpomeni (Kote) Trebicka, of Haverhill two sons, Brian Trebicka and his wife, Annei, of Andover and Etrit Trebicka and his wife, Angela, of Haverhill four cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Jason, Kaycee and Ryan Trebicka two brothers, Mishel Trebicka, of Quincy and Thoma Trebicka, of Las Vegas a sister, Dorthi Lapanxa, a sister in law, Aferdita Trebicka, of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Anesti Trebicka in 2012.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday from 6 until 8 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with burial to follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
